 The facts & documentation in re Mr Arendt's misrepresentations, cherry picked facts, & lies about the stairs follow below: 

New Paragraph

►   Move in date:  4/27   
►   4 months + 16 days later the not to code stairs replaced with different not to code stairs: 9/11  
►   Arendt writes: “…Five Skies was noticed (sic) that …”
►   They noticed? That would be a lie.  They were just fine with their replacement.
►   IF he intended "was notified” then, yes: by the Saratoga Building Inspector during my visit on September 24 after I'd
       recovered some from the injuries I received due to the short top step on September 16.
►   Arendt writes: "were off"  =  they were built in a manner that failed to comply with Wisconsin's Uniform Dwelling Code.
►   Arendt deceptively omits the source of the notification, i.e., the Building Inspector for Saratoga.
►   Riser was brought to UDC requirements 2 days later on 9/26.  
►   I received Quit/Pay Notice on 9/28 for rent due.
►   Rent had been paid in accordance with §704.07 (Repairs; untenantability) as specified in my letter of 9/15.
►   This letter was reviewed with Arendt on 9/20.  

9/11   Wood stairs (below left) were installed replacing the metal steps on right-----------------also not to UDC--------no handrail & >24" high--------------------------------------->

9/15    I paid rent in accordance with the previous agreement to pay rent on 15th & in accordance with Wisc Stat 704.07(4)  in re abatement for untenantability; this letter was submitted with my check on 9/15.

9/16   I was injured in a fall on the 4" short not-to-code top step.  Laid up for a few days, I did some research & discovered applicable areas in Wisconsin Uniform Dwelling Code adopted by the Town of Saratoga. (See Issues: Five Skies - Stairs)

9/21    I wrote letter to Saratoga's Building Inspector - should I mail, visit?

9/24   I visited Saratoga’s Building Inspector, Lorelei Fuerher.  Five Skies had been informed in my letter of 9/03 (excerpt) that if repairs were not completed  (they weren't),  I would contact appropriate agencies.  I brought the letter with photos that I’d written to her. She confirmed then that the replacement  back stairs were not to code &  later by email they were built without permit.  She called Nick while I was with her delighting me immensely as I expected to fill in a form(s) & wait for mailing &/or whatever bureaucratic waiting process would ensue.  Following her call to Nick, we had a lovely little chat about alternative health therapies, allergies, and ADHD.  

9/26  Five Skies repaired the steps to code.

9/28 Two days later & four days after my visit with the Building Inspector, I found a notice to pay full rent with inaccurately calculated late charges from the 1st rather than the 15th taped to the door.  Reeks of retaliation, doesn't it?   (Wisc Stat 704.45)    If, as he stated in his response to the DATCP, that the albeit false claim for my eviction was only about unpaid rent (that had been paid), why would he write the unnecessary sentence in the unnecessary letter attached to the Quit-Pay Notice:  "It appears that you are unhappy with the manner in which my client manages its trailer park."  Why? 
Because "unpaid rent" was pretextual.

Stair risers cannot have a disparity greater than 3/8" per UDC.  Metal stairs were replaced with not-to-code wooden steps on September 11, 2016 with a 2½" disparity.   See Stairs-Lorelei for more info.
Based on Arendt's email to the DATCP:
He is knowledgeable about everything pre-Day 1 of my tenancy and all days to the last.  He participated in the bogus appointment of 9/20.
In fact, neither he nor Nick & Joey knew that I had already constructively evicted myself.
Credit where credit is due:  He does work very hard to cover landlord's buttocks with lies, hogwash, & deception while padding a false court claim with a few extra dollars.

Is this how things are supposed to be done by a member of the Wisconsin Bar and Officer of the Court?
                                           Make the shower quick & do keep on eye
                                             on what's coming out of the showerhead  because
this is what happened after 3 "clear" buckets!
